We are seeking an Avionic Bench Technician to join our Fairfield, California team! In this role, you will be responsible for testing, repairing, and overhauling commercial and military aircraft components.
Required Skills/Experience:
Complete understanding of electronics principles
Ability to proficiently troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component level failures, including defective ICs (integrated circuits), resistors, transistors, capacitors, etc.
Familiarity with and ability to use industry-standard test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, and counters, and learn the proper applications of specialized test equipment.
Ability to read and accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, schematics diagrams, and drawings.
Desired:
Aircraft systems knowledge and experience within the instrumentation, autopilot, air data computers and/or electrical power is beneficial.
Backshop/Depot-Level Avionics Maintenance.
Experience using Labview software for development and use of automated testing.
