Description

SUMMARY: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for prepping, cleaning, testing, and checking in all variants of Survey and MGIS equipment that Allterra offers. They will also troubleshoot rental gear and accessories to ensure we are only keeping working products on our shelves and disposing of/sending off all damaged gear to service. Additionally, they will prepare new sales items before delivery to ensure the units are prepared, tested, and fully functional for our customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Rentals

  • Coordinate rental needs with customers and sales team: via phone, email, and in person
  • Track rentals in company accounting software: Business Central
  • Test all outgoing rental equipment as a kit
  • Test all returned equipment for issues or damages. Send to service department for repair if needed
  • Clean all incoming rental equipment
  • Ship and receive rental equipment

Configuring new sales equipment

  • Charge batteries
  • Load operating systems, software, firmware, system files, preset settings, and licenses on appropriate devices
  • Test individual equipment and as a kit to ensure it is fully functional and ready for use upon receipt by the customer
  • Coordinate with sales team and operations to maintain schedule for delivery

Other Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist operations with inventory control/tracking to minimize equipment loss
  • Assist operations with transferring inventory as needed to other offices
  • Assist operations and supply division with sales orders of supplies and accessories to walk in customers
  • Responsible for goals set by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience is required.
  • Ability to accomplish planned weekly and monthly schedules
  • Ability to speak in a professional manner and communicate well via phone, email or in person
  • Computer Literate – MS Office preferred
  • Ability to work with others and take direction
  • Ability to accomplish planned weekly and monthly schedules

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience using Trimble survey, construction or MGIS products and software.
  • Ability to successfully work with multi-level experienced individuals

Computer Skills/Equipment Used

  • General office equipment (computer, printer, fax, copy machine), scanner, and calculator.
  • Computer knowledge in a Windows environment.
  • Forklift pallets in warehouse, load and unload delivery trucks
