We are looking for a Missile Defense Agency NOC Technician to work in Hill AFB, UT supporting our client.

Requirements:
Create and update tickets utilizing Remedy. –
Monitor network events and element management failures in\nreal-time on a 24x7x365 basis across multiple monitoring tools. –
Provide 24/7/365 sustainment support for outages,\ndegradation of services and Tier 1/Tier 2 support. –
Provide timely situational awareness to leadership and the\nimpacted community within discovery and ticket creation using approved\ncommunication methods as outlined. –
Works directly with Shift lead and O&M leadership for\nguidance –
Record, assess, track, and monitor incident tickets\nescalated to operational infrastructure. –
Demonstrate knowledge of training, standard operating\nprocedures, and tools within O&M. –
Evaluates and provides feedback for training, standard\noperating procedures, and tools. –
Assist in training Network controllers within O&M. –
Effectively communicates with the O&M team and the\ncustomer. –
Provide technical advice and insight to peers and customers\nto assist in resolution of complex issues. –
Demonstrate proficiency in several functions within the\nDISN: routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, DSN/DRSN, Video Services,\nPromina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching, etc –
Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification\n(Security+ CE, or equivalent) at start date. –
Ability to work in a 24/7 operation. –
Experience with one\nor more of the following: alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN\nmaintenance, performance management. –
Expertise in three or more of the following: routers,\nswitches, crypto devices, routing, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO,\nJuniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching. –
General\nunderstanding of network topologies, both transport and IP. –
Currently possess an\nactive Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a\nTop-Secret security clearance.

Support all customers to include providing global\nsituational awareness support. –
Fault Correction:
oCorrect/replace\nfaulty network elements, coordinating with other service providers as\nnecessary. –
Verify that service\nhas been restored upon resolution of all customer-initiated tickets. –
Network/Service Restoration:
Restore\nnetworks and service to full operation
oCoordinate\nwith other service providers as necessary to track service restoration\nand meet the DISN SLA and customer negotiated SLAs.
oIdentify\nfailures that are attributable to a different causes and impacts
oConduct\nreroute and normalization of services and circuits due to outages, degradation,\nor Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs).
oReroute\nroutine circuits within 24 hours of notification
oDocumenting\nreroute in the configuration management database (CMDB).
oProvide\nupdates on outages from technicians and/or government incident tickets until a\nresolution or path to resolution is identified and documented in ticket.
