We're Hiring an IT Support Specialist and Exchange Administrator to Join Our Team!

We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to play a crucial role in maintaining our Microsoft 365 Exchange environment, ensuring smooth email operations, and managing IT onboarding for new hires. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for resolving technical challenges, optimizing IT processes, and supporting a team that is dedicated to improving healthcare access for underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Exchange Administration

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 Exchange, including mailbox management, distribution lists, and security policies.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Exchange-related issues, ensuring email uptime and performance.
  • Manage email security, spam filtering, and compliance policies.
  • Configure and optimize Exchange Online settings, including retention policies and access controls.
  • Work with IT security teams to ensure best practices in email security and data protection.
  • Provide end-user support for email-related issues, including mobile device synchronization.

New Hire Laptop Setup & IT Onboarding

  • Prepare and configure laptops for new hires, including installing required software, updates, and security configurations.
  • Ensure proper integration with Microsoft 365 services, including OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Maintain and track IT inventory, ensuring proper allocation and availability of hardware.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees by providing initial IT orientation and support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues related to new hire setups.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 Exchange.
  • Experience with laptop setup, imaging, and software installation.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, OneDrive, Teams).
  • Knowledge of Windows OS deployment and basic Mac support.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, and email security policies.
  • Experience with remote troubleshooting tools and IT support ticketing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft 365 or Exchange-related certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate).
  • Experience with automation tools like PowerShell for Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of Intune for device management.
