Summary

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution and tracking of individual projects to ensure they remain aligned with timelines, scope, and objectives. This role involves coordinating meetings, updating stakeholders, tracking progress, and supporting communication among team members. The Project Coordinator will assist in managing the day-to-day tasks of projects and serve as a key support resource for project organization and communication.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tasks and timelines for assigned projects under the direction of project or program leadership
  • Support project planning by developing basic project plans, schedules, and documentation
  • Track project progress and update internal systems or reports to reflect current status
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting action items
  • Assist with internal and external communications related to project progress
  • Escalate potential risks or delays to appropriate stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation such as meeting notes, project trackers, and communication logs
  • Coordinate across teams and departments to ensure alignment on goals, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Provide logistical and administrative support to project teams
  • Work closely with team members to ensure tasks are understood and completed on time
  • Reporting issues/roadblocks to manager
  • Basic evaluation of metrics to track progress over time

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with project coordination or project management tools and methodologies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse teams
  • Comfort with presenting updates and facilitating small group meetings
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address basic project challenges
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and follow-through

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a project coordination, project support, or administrative role in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a technology-focused or operational setting
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint) proficiency is required
  • MS Project and/or Smartsheets experience is preferred
