What You Will Do - Essential Functions
We are looking for a highly motivated Data & Strategy Intern to help us improve healthcare access by building and maintaining internal tools that map provider supply to patient demand across markets. This role sits at the intersection of data analysis, business operations, and applied strategy, with a focus on optimizing care delivery through smarter territory planning and resource allocation. This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in starting their career in healthcare economics, data-driven decision-making, or business operations. You’ll work directly with key business stakeholders and gain firsthand exposure to designing data models, developing interactive dashboards, and enabling better operational decisions in a growing healthcare services business.
Develop and refine forecasting tools and data pipelines to visualize provider availability, patient volume, and geographic coverage by integrating data from diverse sources like spreadsheets, databases, and shapefiles
Conduct ZIP-code level supply-demand analysis and collaborate cross-functionally to define metrics around patient opportunity, provider load, and access, supporting strategic decisions in staffing and market coverage.
Aggregate, clean, and analyze operational data to create clear visual reports and dashboards that empower business leaders and internal teams with actionable insights.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Working toward or recently completed a degree in Economics, Data Science, Public Health, Business Analytics, or a related field.
0–1 years of relevant professional experience in analytics, strategy, business operations, or research.
Demonstrated ability to work with data — including cleaning, filtering, aggregating, and visualizing large datasets.
Interest in applying data to healthcare access, workforce optimization, or territory strategy.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with any modern data tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) — and eagerness to learn more.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to healthcare services, provider network management, or public health datasets
Coursework or experience in healthcare economics, applied microeconomics, or market design
Familiarity with geospatial analysis, mapping, or territory planning concepts

Working Conditions:
Work is performed from home with company-provided equipment. Sitting for long periods of time is expected and use of fingers and hands for typing is necessary.
