We are seeking an energetic and experienced teachers to join our team! Whether, you are looking for educational work experience or simply want to impact the life of one student at a time, Huntington is the place for you. As an Educational Instructor, you will assist students individually and in small groups, helping them understand foundational concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests. Your goal is to help students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is patient, flexible, understanding, and has a passion for education!
Summer Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday
9am to 1pm AND 2:30pm to 6:30pm
Saturday
9am to 1pm
Responsibilities:
Help walk students through new concepts using prepared curriculum.
Assist students in preparing for exams and completing assignments
Teach problem-solving skills, mental math, and reading strategies.
Communicate with other teachers and students
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Teacher/Tutor is acceptable, educational certifications preferred
High School diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
Applicants must have reliable transportation, and be willing to drive into the office.
Applicants must be available to work at least 3 days per week.
