Summary

Job Description? ' A Business Service Consultant plays a crucial role in assisting organizations with improving their overall business operations, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Essential Functions

  • Experience working with the public in a fast-paced environment.

  • Possess excellent writing skills.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and critiquing resumes is a plus.
  • Possess knowledge and familiarity with commonly used job search and websites and resources.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), social media, and web search techniques.
  • Responds promptly to job seekers.?
  • Develops and maintains effective work relationships 100% of the time.??
  • Contributes to learning tasks and projects 100% of the time.?
  • Takes initiative to assist team members as needed. Willingly accept additional assignments. Assists with internal/external projects involving the Workforce Center as requested by Management.??
  • Responds appropriately to other duties that may be assigned by management.??
  • Prioritizes completing all assigned tasks by scheduled deadlines. Utilizes time wisely and effectively for business-related activities. Arrives on time for all meetings and internal and external training.??
  • Listens and fully understands the ideas and views of others.?
  • Presents program information, job readiness and search guidance to job seeker base in a clear and concise manner to assist in enhancing performance.??
  • Utilizes business writing skills when corresponding with a team in writing.??
  • Ensuring verbal and non-verbal communication is professional and tactful.??

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2 years' work experience in business-to-business sales, marketing, customer service, staffing or recruiting.?
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills?
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills. Strong presentation skills with public speaking or outside sales experience?
  • Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.?
  • Demonstrate knowledge of labor market trends?
  • Professional demeanor?
  • Sales or staffing experience preferred.?
  • Ability to work well in teams and independently.?
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)?
  • Valid Driver's License is in good standing and proof of current automobile insurance required.?
