About The Role

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a passion for mortgage lending? We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of mortgage applications. If you have a strong understanding of mortgage processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Application Review:
• Thoroughly review mortgage loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Request and gather necessary documentation from clients to support loan applications.
• Communication:
• Serve as a liaison between loan officers, underwriters, and clients to facilitate a seamless loan approval process.
• Keep clients informed of the status of their loan applications and address any inquiries or concerns.
• Document Preparation:
• Prepare and organize loan files, ensuring all required documents are included and meet regulatory standards.
• Verify and analyze financial information provided by applicants.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all loan documentation meets company and regulatory guidelines.
• Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Timeline Management:
• Monitor and manage the loan processing timeline to meet closing deadlines.
• Coordinate with various internal departments to expedite the loan approval process.
• Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies, throughout the loan processing cycle.
• Stay informed about changes in lending guidelines and implement necessary adjustments.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, products, and industry regulations.
• Proficient in using loan processing software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
