What you will be doing:
In this high-profile role, you will be ensuring Tangerine is the most technologically resilient and available bank in the world. Through communication across multiple different groups and vendors, you will own a backlog of improvements that will shape Tangerine’s technology stack to drive our never-ending ambition to be performant for our customers, as Canada’s leading online bank.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Responsible for cross-team incident resolution and action items
- Communication on incident status with executive stakeholders
- Leading lessons learnt sessions and remediation plans
- Informing the technology backlog on opportunities for application improvements
- Point of contact with vendors for ongoing service level reporting and escalations
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- A computer science degree with 5+ years in a SRE role, or similar
- Experience leading application stability across in-house applications, vendors, and infrastructure
- Experience with logging and monitoring systems. Dynatrace experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to influence across different groups a vision of what continuous availability means to you, and collaboration on a roadmap on how to drive to that
- Experience leading and troubleshooting in incident triage calls, while owning action items and completion
- Either working as or work with a vendor to ensure 3rd party applications are held to high standards.
