As our team continues to grow, we're looking for a driven and experienced Senior Accountant / Team Leader to join us remotely. If you have 6+ years of experience in Australian public practice and enjoy mentoring others while delivering high-quality work, wed love to hear from you.

About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and experienced accountant to take on a leadership role within our team. You'll be responsible for managing the preparation and review of tax returns and financial statements, mentoring junior staff, and enhancing internal processes. Your contribution will be crucial in ensuring clients receive accurate, timely, and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
  • Review financial statements to ensure they meet Australian compliance standards
  • Provide coaching and support to junior accountants
  • Keep up-to-date with Australian tax laws and accounting standards, sharing key updates with the team
  • Drive continuous improvement in workflow efficiency and service quality

What We're Looking For

  • At least 4+ years of experience in Australian public practice
  • Solid understanding of Australian tax compliance and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Xero, HubDoc, HowNow Workpapers, Karbon
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication
  • Self-motivated and a team player
