Description

 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Podiatry Collaborating Physician to join our team. This role involves collaborating with Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) in Louisiana and potentially other states to ensure high-quality foot care delivery. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting and training APRNs while maintaining compliance and excellence in patient care.

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the collaborating physician for APRNs providing foot care services.

- Assist in the training and development of APRNs as directed by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Podiatry.

- Conduct monthly audits of at least 10% of APRN charts to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols.

- Report audit results and compliance findings to the CMO of Podiatry.

- Collaborate with the CMO to provide support and resources to APRNs, fostering their success in practice.


Qualifications:

- Medical degree with a specialization in Podiatry.

- Current and valid medical license to practice in Louisiana and potentially other states.

- Experience in a collaborative practice environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to mentor and train healthcare professionals effectively.

- Knowledge of compliance standards and auditing processes in healthcare.
