Description

The NRF Foundation is seeking two interns to support Campus Programs & Scholarships team with virtual and in-person logistics, execution, data collection and analysis, and helps to execute NRF Foundation scholarship programs. In this role, the intern will engage with students, educators and retail sponsors while supporting the NRF Foundation Scholarships and University Relations team. This role supports the distribution of over $800K in annual scholarship funds to university students, making a direct impact on their futures and their career exploration opportunities. 

  

Essential Functions

  • Support Scholarships team with the promotion, tracking, review and communications for the NRF Foundation Ray Greenly Scholarship, NRF Foundation Bright Futures Scholarship, and NRF Foundation x CVS Health Retail Management Scholarship, as well as other general scholarship support, including scholarship marketing, application review, data analysis and quality control. 
  • Support Scholarships team with executing scholarship payment requests alongside NRF Accounting Team to deliver travel stipends and tuition scholarships to recipients.
  • Supports in the management and review of the NRF Foundation Student Ambassador fall program requirements. 
  • Assists with data tracking and reports with the 2026 NRF Foundation Student Program registration.
  • Serve as on-site speaker or scholarship support lead at the 2026 Student Program in NYC and support with overall event execution (January 8-11, 2026). 
  • Support Campus and overall NRF Foundation team with other tasks as needed.


Requirements
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills, familiarity with reading, processing, tracking, catching any discrepancies and analyzing data with charts and pivot tables to present results
  • Strong internal and external communication skills and ability to interact with ease with different stakeholders via email and phone
  • Excellent written skills and proofreading ability
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly with data analysis and large-volume application review
  • Motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently
  • Must be available to travel to NYC with NRF Foundation team January 7 – 12, 2026
  • Must have previously attended the NRF Foundation Student Program conference in New York City
  • Experience with scholarship management and on campus leadership is a plus
  • Familiarity with NRF Foundation Campus Programs a plus
  • Have availability for twenty hours per week, primarily during business hours

Pay: $21/hour
