Location Overview

Role

As the Information Technology Manager, reporting to the General Manager, you would be responsible for various IT functions. You work closely in maintaining department budget and operation expense, administrative system, compliance and control of system and hardware. Provide management support as part of the department leaders, operations team, guest and residence owners assistant, and collaboration with hotel operations from other department disciplines with task and communication across inter departments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for system configuration and setup function to be aligned with corporate standards.
  • Assists in analysing information, identifying current and potential problems, and proposing solutions.
  • Verifies computer/server and network operation are monitored at the property, backup/recovery functions are performed on a schedule basis and administration functions for hardware, operating and application systems are maintained and completed on a consistent basis.
  • Verified solutions are consistent with clients’ needs and corporate standards.
  • Generate systems communications for property users to introduce new applications, provide user tips, alert users of system problems and inform Amansantis of progress and status.
  • Responsible for installation and maintenance of computer system, hardware and not limited to others IT equipment.
  • Provide support for Amansantis, guest and residence owners need aligning to operational requirements.
  • Responsible for enforcement of security policies to protect company data and critical value information.
  • Responsible for providing reports and user permissions review to ensure business meeting compliance and control.
  • Conduct training to ensure Amansantis are update with latest update and trend of systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with Computer Science, Information Technology, or related majors.
  • Management experience of 2 – 4 years in computer science, information technology, or related professional is a plus.
  • Or Professional certification from an accredited university with working experience of 4 – 6 years or related professional area.
  • Experience in hotel management and operation, or related professionals is a plus.
  • Computers and Electronics – Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.
  • Telecommunications - Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunication systems.
  • Coworker relationships – Interacts with others in a way that builds openness trust, and confidence in the pursuit of organizational goals.
  • Customer relationships – Develops and sustains relationships based on an understanding of customer needs and actions consistent with company service standards.
  • Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills in English and Spanish.
