About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automated testing, particularly with Katalon Studio. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our software systems across web, mobile, and API platforms. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and offers an opportunity to drive testing excellence across the product lifecycle.


What You Will Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio in alignment with project requirements.

  • Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including performance and security testing.

  • Work with developers, product owners, and designers to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Participate in sprint planning, release readiness reviews, and contribute to agile ceremonies.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot defects; perform root cause analysis and drive resolution.

  • Mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and quality-first mindsets.

  • Oversee end-to-end QA efforts across manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and APIs.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Designers & Owners during story development to ensure test coverage and early defect prevention.

  • Work with support and development teams to correctly identify priorities and resolve critical issues efficiently.


What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

  • Strong proficiency in Katalon Studio (automation scripting, test data management, CI/CD integration).

  • Hands-on experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger), web/mobile testing, and performance tools (e.g., JMeter, BlazeMeter).

  • Familiarity with security testing methodologies and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience within QA teams.

  • Proficiency in Jira and bug tracking systems.

  • Solid knowledge of QA best practices, SDLC, and testing methodologies.

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.

  • Full professional proficiency in English.

  • Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.


Nice to Have
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.

  • Exposure to BDD/TDD methodologies.

  • Working knowledge of version control systems like Git.

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
