This is a full time position located from a remote office anywhere in the country with a requirement of up to 50% national travel in accordance with public health guidelines.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the director of content marketing, the content marketing lead plays a key role in creating, compelling content across multiple platforms and channels. They also provide essential copyediting and proofreading support for the marketing and communications team as well as other teams across the organization. The content marketing lead supports our content marketing strategy, contributes to sales enablement, and helps ensure consistency of brand and voice externally and internally. This is a collaborative role that reports to the director of content marketing but also works very closely with the communications manager and the senior director of marketing and communications.
The content marketing lead is a versatile writer and competent copyeditor with 5+ years of experience creating engaging written content for a variety of audiences, ideally within the K–12 education and/or nonprofit space. Drawn to our vision and mission, the content marketing lead is passionate about K–12 education (and en/em dashes). They understand the importance of content for thought leadership, brand awareness, lead generation and nurturing, and sales. They have experience with email campaigns and with SEO and can create optimized content. The content marketing lead is also comfortable digging into marketing data. The content marketing lead is naturally curious, solutions-oriented, organized, and flexible.

Compensation:
