Job description

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations across the company, ensuring effective coordination between departments.
  • Take initiative to spot gaps, resolve issues swiftly, and ensure smooth operations without the need for escalation.
  • Implement the CEO’s strategic objectives through structured workstreams, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.
  • Set the standard by demonstrating performance, accountability, and integrity to cultivate a high-performing culture.
  • Guide and coach mid-level managers to strengthen a performance-driven culture and build a resilient, dedicated team.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulations by managing documentation for audits, internal controls, and regulatory reporting.
  • Monitor operational risks closely and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Lead key workstreams and cross-functional projects to support business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure each project is clearly scoped, well-resourced, closely monitored, and aligned with internal and group-level goals.
  • Coordinate with group-level functions to meet reporting obligations, support governance, and align on shared operational matters.
  • Deliver accurate inputs for board submissions, financial reports, audits, and cross-entity projects, while ensuring transparency and timely follow-through.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an added advantage.
  • At least 8 years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on lending, credit operations, or structured finance.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and overseeing key functions such as credit, finance, legal, and compliance.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory and licensing requirements in financial services, with practical knowledge of their application in daily operations.
  • Capable of executing plans effectively by setting clear expectations, firm deadlines, and defined ownership across all levels.
  • A hands-on leader with a strong operational mindset, sharp attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
