SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Performs tender and contract responsibilities.

We are seeking a highly motivated Tender Management Specialist to join our dynamic team that is dedicated to making a difference in healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Analysing tender alerts to determine relevance to Merit Medical products.
  • Prepare application documents for official tender submissions via web portal or email.
  • Complete tender submissions by arranging requested documents and ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Coordinate pricing schedules with Sales for tender submissions, including related analysis.
  • Administer awarded tenders in the Oracle database to ensure adherence to requirements.
  • Submit and maintain e-catalogues and product classifications.
  • Prepare and communicate analyses of contract awards and performance, including potential price adjustments.
  • Provide usage information on contracts to the appropriate authority when needed.
  • Update and maintain electronic catalogues.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory, Legal, and HR departments to ensure accurate and complete tender submissions.
  • Upload and maintain contract price lists, including updates related to product extensions and discontinuations.
  • Advise the Sales team on upcoming tender renewals to ensure timely customer engagement.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as required.
     

We believe that in order to be the best fit with this position you will need to have the following qualifications:


•    Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree.
•    Two years of relevant experience in tender and contract management or a comparable field.
•   Proven experience with computer applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software programs, is required
•    Excellent analytical skills, with ability to understand financial impact of decisions.
•    Excellent organizational skills.
•    Self-motivated, detail-oriented and excellent time/project management skills.
•    Results-oriented, with ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
•    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well--verbally and in writing--with others.
•    Fluent in the language applicable to the region, both written and verbally
