Role Description

As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, in the IT Corp team, your role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and comprehensive support for cross-functional teams within GFiber. You'll drive efficiency by automating processes and leveraging your technical support expertise, strategic mindset, and leadership abilities to implement IT solutions across our expanding organization.

In this role, you'll:

  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to deeply understand their business processes and IT needs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network and software issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Resolve complex hardware, software, and networking challenges efficiently to maintain high availability.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for IT solutions that streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement scalable IT systems and infrastructure solutions.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a Corporate IT environment.
  • Experience implementing and managing Identity and Access Management including Single Sign-On, multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, and identity lifecycle management in Okta.
  • Experience implementing workflow automations through Okta Workflow.
  • Experience implementing system integrations through API’s, webhook, and pre-built connectors.

It's preferred if you have:

  • 8 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a Corporate IT environment.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Javascript, Powershell, etc.) to deploy advanced system integrations.
  • Experience in managing operating systems (e.g., Windows, ChromeOS, MacOS).
  • Experience with device management solutions (e.g., Kandji, Intune, Workspace).
  • Experience managing multiple identity management solutions (e.g., Okta, Entra ID).
  • Experience with data manipulation and transformation between systems including JSON and various data types.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $136,000 - $198,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
