Job Title – Informatica IICS MDM Developer Location - Houston, TX Duration: 12+ Months Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Informatica IICS SQL MDM Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Informatica IICS, SQL databases, and Master Data Management principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Integration Development: Develop and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various source systems into SQL databases.
2. Master Data Management (MDM): Implement and manage Master Data Management processes and systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy. Create and maintain master data models and mappings.
3. SQL Database Management: Design, optimize, and maintain SQL databases, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for data transformation and retrieval.
4. Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve data quality by implementing data cleansing, validation, and enrichment processes. Develop data quality rules and perform data profiling.
5. Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL processes and SQL queries for maximum efficiency and performance. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
7. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including data mappings, ETL workflows, and data dictionaries. 8. Data Security: Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
9. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve data integration and data quality issues in a timely manner. Provide support for production data-related incidents. Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
· Proven experience in Informatica IICS development, SQL database management, and Master Data Management (MDM).
· Strong SQL programming skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
· Proficiency in data modeling and ETL concepts.
· Familiarity with data quality tools and methodologies.
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
· Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
· Relevant certifications in Informatica and MDM are advantageous.
