Job description

Performs various clerical duties in order to process mortgage loan applications for underwriting and closing.

Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receives and prepares initial disclosure package meeting TRID guidelines.
Receives and processes all necessary mortgage application forms and documents from the origination department for underwriting purposes.
Responds to all inquiries related to lending programs; when necessary, directs inquiries to proper person(s) for additional information.
Re-disclose all necessary mortgage applications.
Performs pre-underwriting analysis and prepares commitment letter.
Completes weekly pipeline reports for the Operations Manager.
Interacts with originators and Attorneys to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications.
Knowledge of state and federal compliance laws and regulations.
Monitors processing of loan applications to ensure compliance with regulatory processing time requirements.
Knowledge of Secondary Market Underwriting requirements.

Secondary Duties

Cross trained to handle consumer loan inquires and applications

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
