Job description:
In this position, you will provide technical support for Turbocharging Service, Process Automation Turbocharging at a designated location either on company or customer premises, delivering superior, professional service, remotely or on site. You will be responsible for executing Service work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with Accelleron standard processes and safety guidelines. Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. In close cooperation with customers and other Accelleron teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for Accelleron.
You will be reporting to the Turbocharging Workshop Manager.
Your responsibilities:
Service delivery: Performs Service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in any Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services and replacements of a variety of turbochargers for commercial applications).
Customer Approach: Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectations. Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs. Identifies new sales opportunities and communicates them internally.
Materials and Supply: Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities.
Documentation and Reports: Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
Troubleshooting: Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions. Troubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
Operational Excellence: Proactively identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them further in the Accelleron organization. Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
Health, Safety and Integrity: Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.
Your background:
Due to U.S. government contract requirements, this position is limited to someone, who is authorized to work in U.S. without any sponsorship.
Technical education in the direction of mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
You have a solution/service oriented mindset.
You are used to working according to the applicable regulations and safety rules.
You are familiar with Office software packages.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Physical Demands:
Stand or Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Walk: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Use hands/fingers to handle or feel: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Climb (stairs/ladders/platforms) or balance: Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service the lights and ceiling fans.
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Constantly positions self to maintain files in file cabinets.
Talk/hear: Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
See: Ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Carry weight, lift: Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 20 pounds across office for various needs.
Exposure to work: Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
