The opportunity

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of High Voltage (HV) Service, a core pillar of the Business Unit (BU) Service with significant business impact. You identify, explore and implement technology and product development strategies that strengthen the global position and long-term profitability of our company.

You represent the technology function in High Voltage Service R&D projects, lead world-class R&D teams across global High Voltage Products Technology Centers, continuously developing capabilities and optimizing the product life cycle. You drive R&D activities through a structured gate model, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of innovation.

How you´ll make an impact

  • You manage the R&D project portfolio, ensure key activities are prioritized and projects are delivered on time and within budget. You coordinate global product support
  • You contribute in building and developing a strong team while ensuring the organization runs effectively following resource and activities prioritization
  • You shape and implement R&D roadmaps with product and technology leaders. You work closely with product management to define and prioritize market-driven R&D initiatives
  • You drive innovation and set measurable goals to track progress
  • You represent the company to customers and universities. You are an active member of the Technology Management Teams of both High Voltage Products and Service BUs
  • You manage IP strategies, address risks in project reviews and take responsibility of the R&D budget

Your background

  • You hold a University Degree in Engineering and potentially a PhD
  • As an R&D Manager, you are likely to have several years’ experience of engineering and/or R&D and/or product management and execution of R&D projects
  • Demonstrated experience in management of R&D and engineering teams
  • Knowledge and experience of High Voltage product portfolio and its production network is a must
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Regular travels are requested in the role
