Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Junior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Release Manager to join our Information Technology team as part of the eCommerce development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless delivery of software and content, contributing to the efficient operation of our Salesforce Commerce environment.

What you'll do in this role:
Manage Release Lifecycle: Plan, coordinate, and execute software and content releases to all environments.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product owners, software development, quality assurance, DevOps, supply chain, information security, IT operations, and merchandiser teams to plan, schedule, and monitor software releases and site configurations.
Operational Support: Handle administrative tasks within the Salesforce Commerce environment, such as user provisioning, profile/permission set management, and other related responsibilities.
Process Adherence: Ensure all deployments adhere to established company Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, minimizing errors and downtime.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues impacting release schedules or software quality, proactively developing and implementing mitigation and contingency plans.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and timely updates on release plans, progress, risks, and resolutions to project teams, stakeholders, and executives.
Documentation & Improvement: Maintain accurate project and deployment documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of company SDLC policies and procedures.

What you'll need to be successful:
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in release management, project management, or a related IT role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to effectively plan, execute, and monitor releases, demonstrating strong attention to detail and following established process.
Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software development processes, Agile methodologies, version control systems, and release management tools.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve conflicts and address unexpected obstacles.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive and execute autonomously in a dynamic, deadline-driven, and fast-paced environment.
 

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $87,600.00 - $103,100.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
