We are looking for a Supervisor, Network Services who will join our team.
The Supervisor, Network Services, is a key position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization's network services. This role involves providing leadership to the network services team, ensuring operational efficiency, and collaborating with other teams to maintain a secure and reliable network infrastructure.
In this role you will:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the network services, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop short- and long-term strategies for network growth and improvement
- Create and manage network-related budgets and forecasts
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Provide leadership to the network services team, including task assignment, training, and performance management.
- Manage projects, tasks, and monitor progress/performance to ensure the team meets objectives and deadlines
- Set the standard for accountability by engaging in the on-call rotation as a hands-on leader
- Collaborate with technical teams to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure.
- Work cross-functionally with other IT teams, business units, and leadership
- Serve as the point of contact for all network-related matters
- Communicate technical issues and plans clearly to non-technical stakeholders"
- Promote and enforce network security measures, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure.
- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers
- Oversee procurement of networking hardware, software, and support services
What you'll need to be successful:
-Bachelor's Degree, Information Technology, Network Engineering,
- 4 - 7 Years of experience prefered
- The ideal candidate for the role of Network Services Supervisor should possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement to effectively manage and optimize network services within an organization.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in network engineering/administration, with at least 2–3 years in a team leadership role
- Experience with enterprise-grade network equipment (Cisco, Meraki, Arista, Fortinet)
- Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and team development.
- Solid project management and organizational capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong financial acumen
Preferred Certifications & Skills:
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Experience leading large-scale network projects and managing cross-functional teams.
- Background in both enterprise IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
- Experience with Cloud networking (AWS, GCP)
