This is a hybrid position based out of our Johnston, IA office.

What we’re looking for:

SHAZAM is looking for a Application Security Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for infrastructure and application information security controls design and implementation, control maintenance, and incident response to assure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of system and computing assets and sensitive data of the company and its network.

What you'll do: 

• Implement, manage and configure application security tools including SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
• Write APIs and scripts in python and other scripting languages to integrate various systems and create Jira workflows system.
• Work with developers to provide validation of discovered vulnerabilities and their remediation.
• Use security standards and implement configurations as well as common security frameworks.

What you need:

• Multiple years experience in applications development with focus on security tools for the CI/CD pipeline.
• CI/CD pipeline components, security testing, SAST, DAST, SCA, scripting languages (ie. Python or JavaScript).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams.
