The Naval Power Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, well-organized Manager, Contracts within the Phalanx and Close-in Weapon System (CIWS) program area. This role will support the Production Contracts for the U.S. Navy.
In this role, you will be responsible for proposal delivery and negotiation, customer communication, contract management, change management, contractual requirements and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, compliance with Global Trade policies and agreements, legal requirements, and customer specifications. You will need to utilize regular application of thorough business acumen and subject matter expertise to understand program performance requirements, provide guidance, and influence results in support of program and financial objectives. Additionally, the Manager, Contracts is required to work closely with Program Management leadership, the Office of General Counsel, and cross-functional peers in support of program gate reviews, program management reviews, business strategy sessions, proposal reviews, risk management activities, and all other contract related matters affecting the portfolio.
The successful candidate will work with both internal and external customers to ensure program performance, provide guidance, and influence outcomes to achieve desired results. The successful candidate should have a track record of success in U.S. Government contracting, including terms and conditions, proposal process, contract execution, and possess an excellent financial background. The successful candidate will also be expected to have the prerequisite skills and experience to represent Raytheon independently on significant transactions while having the ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with complex customers.
Please note that this role is intended to be remote, however the selected candidate may be expected to travel to the site location and to customer locations as needed.
