Outbound Product Manager
Alludo has an immediate vacancy for this role.
Push the boundaries of tech. In your sweatpants.
We’re looking for an experienced title to help us change the way the world works, with Parallels.
The top creative and technical minds could work anywhere. So why are so many of them choosing Alludo? Here are three reasons:
- This is the moment. It’s an exciting time at Alludo, with strong leadership, a refreshed brand (you probably know us as Corel!), and a whole new approach to changing the way the world works. We’re at the forefront of a movement, and we want you to ride this wave with us.
- We want you to be you. Too often, companies tell you about their culture and then expect you to fit it. Our culture is built from the people who work here. We want you to feel safe to be who you are, take risks, and show us what you’ve got.
- It’s your world. We know you have a life. We want to be part of it, but not all of it. At Alludo, we’re serious about empowering people to work when, how, and where they want. Couch? Sweatpants? Cool with us. We believe that happy employees mean happy customers. That’s why we hire amazing people and get out of their way.
Parallels is looking for an Outbound Product Manager to join our Parallels Desktop team, someone who thrives on wearing multiple hats and delivering direct impact. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that blends solution engineering, technical marketing, and field enablement.
You'll collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Support, and Sales to ensure Parallels Desktop Enterprise Edition delivers what the market needs — and that the market clearly understands what Parallels Desktop delivers.
Sound good so far? Awesome. Let’s talk more about the role and see if we’re destined to be together.
THE ROLE:
- Participate in customer and partner calls as a Solution Architect, Systems Engineer, and Technical Support partner. Understand requirements, demo relevant product capabilities, assist with setup and documentation, and determine if a solution should be scaled across the user base.
- Capture and route field insights to the Product team and contribute directly to the discovery board for roadmap consideration.
- Work directly with Product Management to shape and refine roadmap strategy based on customer feedback, market needs, and hands-on testing.
- Help Marketing teams during major and minor releases: explain features, prepare video demos, and provide source material for release notes, blog posts, and campaigns.
- Stay current and sharp on Mac and Windows management (Jamf, Intune), security teams (identity, policies, RBAC), and adjacent tools. Maintain personal labs, evaluate new solutions, and produce technical content or thought leadership relevant to Parallels users.
- Support Sales, Sales Engineers, and Support teams with training on new features, rollout updates, technical clarifications, and enablement materials.
- Review documentation and product behavior for accuracy, clarity, and real-world applicability — and work with Tech Writers and Product/UX to address gaps.
- Be available and visible to the Parallels user and admin community — whether on Slack, forums, or other channels — sharing insights and surfacing problems and ideas.
YOU:
- Have a bias for action and are energized by solving practical, real-world problems.
- Are confident presenting to technical stakeholders and turning ideas into tangible assets.
- Are comfortable writing or editing docs, making demo videos, and helping on a support ticket — all in the same day.
- Know how to work with modern IT tools and are familiar with enterprise endpoint management.
- Enjoy bridging gaps between product and field teams.
The following are not required, though definitely nice to have:
- 3+ years in product management, technical marketing, technical support, IT management or solutions architecture.
- Experience with on-device and/or server virtualization (Parallels Desktop, VMware, Citrix, etc.).
- Experience with device management (Jamf Pro, Intune)
- Familiarity with modern identity management practices (Azure AD, Okta)
- Experience creating videos, solution briefs, technical guides, and demo setups.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Parallels is an award-winning solution that helps users leverage the best technology out there, whether it’s Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, iOS, Android, or the cloud
