Customer Service Representative — Remote

Fully remote contract role in the insurance industry supporting disability and life claims. This full-time opportunity offers a collaborative team environment, rotational schedule, and potential for permanent placement. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals with clerical or contact center experience.

What is in it for you:

• Salaried: $21.88 per hour.
• 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Monday to Friday, 37.50 hours per week.
• Full-time position based in the Eastern time zone.
• Rotational shifts between 8:00 am. and 8:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and clerical support related to disability and life claims.
• Support business-as-usual (BAU) activities and operational tasks.
• Maintain accurate and organized records in accordance with company standards.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet service level targets.
• Utilize standard software tools and systems for documentation and communication.

What you will need to succeed:

• Post-secondary education is an asset but not required.
• Proven experience in an administrative, clerical, or contact center role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in claims processing, is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
