ABOUT THE ROLE

The Leasing & Transactions Associate at Welltower will play a vital role in supporting the leasing operations and activities of the organization. Working closely with the leasing team, this position will be responsible for coordinating and managing various leasing processes and ensuring efficient and effective execution of lease agreements. The Leasing & Transactions Associate will contribute to the overall success of the leasing function by maintaining accurate leasing records, facilitating communication with tenants and brokers and internal departments, and providing exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support leasing activities, including preparing lease documents, updating lease agreements, providing financial analyses, and maintaining accurate lease records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assisting Leasing Directors by performing market analyses.
• Tracking Broker Agreement expirations and assist with new/renewal of Broker Agreements.
• Support the leasing team by assisting with Rent Commencement Letters, TI Extension Letters, etc.
• Work closely with the Property Management, Leasing, and Marketing teams on the vacant suite turnover process.
• Ensure all vacant suites have current as-built space plans.
• Work closely with the Marketing Department to schedule Matterport video shootings, coordinate broker events, update Available Space Reports, etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal, finance, and property management, to ensure smooth and timely lease execution and transition.
• Maintain effective communication with tenants, addressing their leasing-related questions, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate and participate in leasing events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Welltower's properties and attract potential tenants.
• Conduct market research to identify leasing opportunities, monitor market trends, and provide recommendations for pricing and leasing strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to leasing and real estate.

TRAVEL

Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in leasing coordination or a related role in the real estate industry.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
