We are looking for a Payments Operations Specialist to join our Payments team at Papaya Global.

Key responsibilities:

Be the first port of call for payment related queries and concerns
Investigating and responding to payment queries from internal and external parties
Monitoring of payments execution and resolving any issues
Working with 3rd party payment providers to resolve queries
Ensuring payments/reports are loaded on to the system correctly and timely
Provide and maintain exceptionally high levels of customer service
Work collaboratively with the rest of the payments and customer service teams as we continue to scale

This role is hybrid in Kraków (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree – preferably in a STEM subject
2+ years of work experience in a financial services customer-facing role, preferably B2B
Excellent communications skills – written and verbal
Proactive and creative in problem-solving
Ability to multitask and work under stressful conditions
Understanding of payments systems and settlement cycles
Proficient in tools like Salesforce, Microsoft office
