Job description

Part-Time Graphic Designer

LOCATION: Washington, DC or Remote

SALARY:  $28 USD/hour (20 hours/week) or $2,250 USD/month

TIMEFRAME: Contract Through August 2026 (Opportunity to Renew Annually)

HOURS: Must be able to commit to 20 hours per week.

ROLE: Part-Time

We are looking for someone who is able to:

  • Confidently use Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Confidently use Canva and build templates from designs made in Adobe software
  • Cleanly trim photos in Adobe Photoshop
  • Manage several tasks and projects at once 
  • Create designs that entice and inspire Gen Z and Gen Alpha
  • Be a self-starter and get ahead of projects
  • Be detail-oriented (catch typos, fix alignment issues, and ensure brand consistency)
  • Consistently work toward and meet deadlines

What projects this role will focus on:

  • BBYO International Convention: SWAG, social media graphics, large-format prints (banners, meter boards, foam boards), app design, and other printed program materials
  • Campaign & Initiative Branding Kits: Flyer templates, letterheads, social graphics, and other digital assets.
  • Global Leadership Training Conferences: Large-format prints, SWAG, posters, and slide decks.
  • Training Resources
  • Special Strategic Projects
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or other Adobe software is a plus. This role can be hired as a Part-Time employee in the U.S. or contracted outside of the U.S.
