Who will you be joining? 

 

Global Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) ensures that external spend in all areas of IT and non-IT is managed in a professional and compliant way. The procurement teams negotiate global frame contracts, run complex tenders and negotiate contracts and commercial terms and conditions to support Business in identifying the right external vendors to run global contracts. 
Within GSP, you will be working in Strategic Procurement in the area of IT Professional Services and supporting an international team of strategic Buyers.

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with team and team lead
  • Coordinate internal and external team meetings or calls (e.g. with offshore support team)
  • Summarize outcome of meetings (meeting minutes)
  • Foster internal knowledge exchange
  • Assist in activities related to the procurement tool, e.g. tendering or contract management
  • Creation of excel reports to track procurement activities
  • Preparation of PowerPoint presentations ahead of team- or department meetings
  • Support the team in covering the complete lifecycle of strategic sourcing initiatives

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Very good communicative skills in English language, German language is a plus 
  • Good knowledge in MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Interest in Procurement and Project Management
  • Social skills & team-based attitude
  • Ability to work independently in a structured way
  • Advanced studies (preferably business administration; either in Bachelor or Master)
  • Experience abroad (study period or internship) is a plus
  • Good communication skills and proactive mindset
  • Experience with / Interest in working in an international working environment
