Collins Engineers, Inc., is looking for a self-motivated Computer Support Specialist to join our Chicago, Illinois, office. The Computer Support Specialist is responsible for the technical aspect of troubleshooting a computer for problems and finding the quickest and most effective solutions to fix them.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshoots hardware, software, and network problems.
Maintains and monitors a list of support cases.
Prepares documentation and guides for various solutions and products.
Trains employees in the use of certain software.
Images, configures, and tests computers.
Distributes equipment and software to branch offices.
Performs data and archiving and destruction.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree in computer science or a related degree.
Two years' experience installing computer hardware and software, troubleshooting technical computer problems, providing technical support for computer users in a professional setting, and training users in using basic software packages.
Must have experience with the following software: Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Windows.
Previous experience with the following is a plus: Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, PowerShell ISE, and PostgreSQL.

The base salary will be estimated between $51,000 - $62,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
