POSITION/TITLE: Jr. Analyst – Business Forecasting & Planning

WORK LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (SSSC Office)

POSITION REPORTS TO: Business & Financial Manager

WORK TYPE: ON SITE/In-Office (non-remote/non-hybrid)

JOB SUMMARY:

In this entry-level role, the ideal candidate will successfully assist with the collection and organization of data, assisting with sales forecasts, preparing ad-hoc reports, and supporting in the creation of presentations for and to senior leadership. This role will collaborate across departments and gain exposure to key business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain / Operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, curious, and wants to grow in a business or finance-related career and who enjoys working with numbers, trends and supporting business decisions and growth through data.

This position is within the Business Forecasting and Financial Analysis team, which plays a key role in enabling data-informed decision-making. We collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to deliver accurate forecasts and robust planning insights. Our mission is to ensure that every team as the critical information needed for effective strategic planning.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

E Sales Data Support

Collect and organize sales data from multiple internal systems (Excel, CRM, reports, etc.)

Assist in the building of simple reports and spreadsheets for the purpose of tracking key sales data

Maintain up to date sales records and verify for accuracy to ensure error free and thorough data accountability

Forecasting Assistance

Partner with the team to assist with forecasting customer demand for products and/or services

Utilize past sales trends and other data to predict future sales expectations

Utilize past forecasts to establish trends to suggest improvements

Basic Financial Analysis

Provide analysis and financial summaries on new business opportunities

Identify product data costing inconsistencies amongst all WinCup plants and provide feedback for corrections.

Cross-Team Collaboration

Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain/Operations teams to gather inputs for analysis.

Share reports and updates with other departments as needed

Actively participate in team meetings to gain clear understanding and alignment related to priorities and upcoming needs

Process Support

Maintain internal trackers and files organized and up to date

Provide miscellaneous support to the sales administrative team

Provide improvement suggestions related to reporting or data collection processes

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field.

Recent graduate or early-career professional

Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, V-Look-Ups, complex Formulas, etc.) as well as PowerPoint.
