Job description

Job Description:

This is a remote opportunity, open to anyone in the US.

As SVP, Head of Performance Strategy, you will lead dentsu's Performance Strategy practice across key clients and capabilities. You will be responsible for evolving and scaling a high-performing team that translates audience insights into actionable strategies, drives cross-channel performance, and enables algorithmic activation across the media ecosystem. You will partner closely with investment, activation, client service and planning, analytics, data & tech, and product teams to ensure our strategies are measurable, future-forward, and client-centric. You will report into the Head of Activation.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and evolve dentsu's Performance Strategy vision, ensuring alignment with dentsu business goals and client needs
  • Champion a cross-channel, audience-first approach that integrates media, creative, and data
  • Lead the development of frameworks for full-funnel optimization, testing roadmaps, and measurement strategies
  • Operationalize algorithmic enablement strategies in partnership with client center leads
  • Drive adoption of clean room technologies, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), and cross-channel attribution models
  • Lead the development of toolkits and documentation to scale strategy excellence across accounts/brands
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to key clients, translating business objectives into performance media strategies
  • Collaborate with client leads, analytics, and investment & activation teams to ensure seamless execution and measurable outcomes
  • Represent dentsu in thought leadership forums and client innovation sessions
  • Manage and mentor a team of VPs, Group Directors, and Directors across Performance Strategy
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
  • Partner with Talent and HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier strategy talent

Qualifications:
  • 12+ years experience in media strategy, performance marketing, or digital transformation roles
  • Proven experience leading large, matrixed teams and managing senior client relationships
  • Deep understanding of audience strategy, media planning, and measurement frameworks
  • Strong grasp of data privacy, clean room tech, and algorithmic media activation
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills

The annual salary range for this position is $163,000 -$263,350. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
