The Position

The HRIS Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing and maintaining our HR technology systems to support business objectives. This position is responsible for the configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) systems, ensuring alignment with company policies and strategic initiatives. The HRIS UKG Analyst will drive system enhancements, data integrity, reporting, and analytics to enable informed decision-making. Additionally, this role will act as a trusted partner to HR and business leaders, providing technical expertise, troubleshooting support, and process improvements to enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize UKG, managing system configurations, security settings, and user access
• Identify and resolve system issues, ensuring stability, functionality, and minimal downtime
• Lead testing for system updates, patches, and enhancements, validating functionality and mitigating risks
• Ensure seamless data exchange between UKG and other HR systems, troubleshooting integration issues as needed
• Configure workflows and automation to improve HR processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
• Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support HR and leadership decision-making
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Provide technical guidance and training to HR teams, payroll, and business users, ensuring effective system use

Skills and Knowledge:

• Expertise in HR systems administration, including configuration, security, workflows, and troubleshooting
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience creating dashboards or visualizations using tools like Power BI and Cognos
• Solid understanding of HR processes (e.g., payroll, benefits, and talent management) to align system functionality with business needs
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and take proactive action in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to support users, deliver training, and maintain data integrity and compliance

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in HRIS system administration, configuration, and data analysis
• 1+ year of experience with UKG system administration, preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and report generation; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus
• Familiarity with HR functions such as benefits, payroll, and talent management
