SCIB IT MARKET RISK is looking for a Software developer, based in our MADRID office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

  • You will translate the functional & user requirements into technical specifications and proceed with their development, certification and productive release. You will have to coordinate and accompany the E2E project from definition to the production deployment.

  • Additionally, you will lead a team to allow the execution of the business projects and the evolution of the solutions. You will encourage the team to improve performance and maturity, focusing on delivering value to the customer in a sustainable, iterative and collaborative way.

  • Providing all support to the teams with criteria and determination.

  • Identify training, upskilling or re-profiling needs required to maintain technical competences.

  • Facilitating the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the process being followed by the team. 

  • GAP analysis from users and definition to developers.

  • Manage multiple projects and requests concurrently, each in diverse phases and with its own actors and technologies, being able to successfully keep up with their requirements and deadlines.

EXPERIENCE

  • + 5 years’ experience as a Software Engineer, ideally on Agile.

EDUCATION

  • Technical degree: Computer science, Telecommunications or Engineering.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience working in Java and/or Python.

  • Interfaces, Microservices and rest APIs

  • High performance computing: grid/cloud systems and distributed caches.

  • Experience working with agile methodologies: Scrum and Kanban.

  • Software frameworks: GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar.

  • Good spoken and written English and Spanish.

  • Desirable experience working in CIB Markets area projects, Financial products: Equities, Interest Rates, Forex and Market Risk metrics.
