About The Role:
At Walr, the Technical Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Full-Service Projects for our clients. We’re looking for someone who thrives on ownership, excels in fast-paced environments, and enjoys collaborating directly with clients - someone who is empowered to make decisions that drive exceptional client satisfaction.
Taking on project ownership and providing clients with a single point of expertise, this team will service clients who need guidance, flexibility and best-in-class technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently lead end-to-end project management, serving as a single point of contact from kick-off, scripting, fieldwork management, quality control, through to data delivery to the client
Manage, coordinate and oversee, both internally and externally, and take full ownership and responsibility of all elements of high-complexity projects
Become a regional expert in the Walr platform, driving efficient project set-up and delivery, and advocating for our proprietary solutions
Ensure high-quality execution aligned with standards and client success metrics
Implement process improvements and best practices across project workflows
Ensure high-quality project delivery while adhering to applicable standards
Establish process best practices and ensure that project implementation delivers against client success measures
Manage project budgets to maximize profitability and handle invoicing promptly
Provide bidding support and recommendations to the account management team
Mentor and delegate to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and growth
Advise clients on Walr technology and proactively address potential challenges.
Escalate issues appropriately and maintain a strong understanding of Walr’s services
Please note: This is a remote-friendly role. We will likely require candidates who can work within Central or Pacific time zones.
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the market research industry
Experience in scripting platforms such as Forsta or similar
Solid understanding of data processing workflows and the full data collection lifecycle
Strong knowledge and understanding of questionnaire design and logic
Proven track record of project management and/or project scripting in a similar environment
Experience working with global clients within a fast-moving sector
Experience in sampling and field best practices is an advantage
Proficiency in basic computer tools such as MS Office, Slack etc.
Excellent project management, communication, and administrative skills
