What you do

To drive business improvements by identifying the opportunities, defining business requirements, build the business case, and design the process and technology solutions to achieve business results

To provide effective and timely resolution to queries from employees and other stakeholders

To identify and deliver service improvement activity related to financial accounting processes
-
To actively work on analysis of tasks and their harmonization and standardization

To work with key business stakeholders, and multi-jurisdictional ‘LEAN champions’, to support an ongoing program of change
-
To facilitate process improvement based workshops to drive ideas and solutions
-
To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working
-
To assist in the development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class’ continuous improvement strategy
-
To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls
-
To elicit requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow analysis
-
To work with other team members and business services departments to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training related to financial accounting processes changes/enhancements
-
To participate in test & validation of new process and system changes
-
To actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and identify solutions to address in advance
-
To ensure the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported on and managed at all times
-
To complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects

What you bring
Educational requirements
-
Bachelor degree and/or Masters Degree in the Financial field
Functional knowledge:
-
Fully computer literate, advanced Excel and advanced experience of accounting packages (SAP)
-
Knowledge about IFRS
-
Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent
-
Good knowledge in English.
Business expertise:
-
Experience of financial reporting in a Group environment and of monthly financial & accounting processes
-
Data Reporting: Proficient in delivering clear data insights.
-
Basic familiarity with Data Analytics is necessary, including the ability to apply fundamental concepts in simple scenarios.

Extended experience in Finance functions
-
Accounting experience of 5 years or more.
Interpersonal Skills
-
Self-motivated with ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines
-
Customer focused and team player.

Extended problem solving skills (analysis, decision, communication, autonomy)
