Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Supply Chain Management drives the procure-to-pay process across the enterprise and aims to provide the best support to ensure seamless delivery of care to patients. As a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Periop, you will be responsible for management and optimization of the front-end operations and serve as lead analyst during planning, implementation and testing of operational and technological enhancements.
A caregiver in this position works remotely, weekdays part-time from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Collaborate with the Supply Chain team, nurses, and surgeons to meet the goals of the Institute(s) and to serve quality patient care.
Serves as the lead analyst responsible for supporting assigned areas' front-end operations.
Partner with Administrators and Front-End Managers to ensure they have the management tools to drive performance to the highest levels.
Drive partnerships with key senior management in Operations, Finance and ITD to ensure front-end business practices.
Collaborate with other front-end analysts and leaders (RCM, RMP, CST, AO) to help sustain a consistent approach for patients across the enterprise.
Assist Institute Administrators with the development of plans related to the expansion, relocation, and remodeling of current and new facilities and medical practices.
Ensure the administration of quality and safe care for patients of all ages, levels and cultural diversity, including global and VIP patients.
Responsible for management of front-end reporting for all assigned areas, and oversight of all front-end reporting regarding appointment scheduling/access, and the entire check-in and checkout process.
Represent the assigned areas on various enterprise-wide committees.
Monitor front end score card metrics. Drives process improvement projects related to front-end operations.
Identify performance improvement opportunities across areas, and partners to translate into efficiency improvements.
Analyzes operational flows and recommends ways to enhance efficiency through the use of technology.
Assists with maintenance and updating of all front-end SOPs on an annual basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration or related field.
Experience may offset degrees on a year-for-year basis.
Five years of Epic system use experience in an outpatient and/or inpatient setting, including experience involving operational analysis, business reorganization, continuous improvement, and resource utilization.
Proficient understanding of workflows in an ambulatory environment.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Certification in Epic in Cadence and/or prelude preferred.
