We’re a WordPress agency, so experience managing WordPress-based projects is a a big plus. If you're comfortable navigating agile, waterfall, and hybrid project approaches, and know when to apply the right one, you might feel right at home here.
In this role, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of multiple digital projects, from initial planning through to launch and ongoing support. You’ll bring order to chaos, ask thoughtful questions, and dive deep into each project’s goals and context. We’re looking for someone who not only manages tasks and timelines but understands the "why" behind the work, proactively identifying risks, anticipating challenges, and helping our clients and teams succeed.
This is a full-time, permanent, remote position with a base salary range of $75K to $100k annually.
What You’ll Do
Manage scope, timeline and budget execution
Manage expectations for everyone on a project including the team, the account managers, and the customer
Create and define project roles and responsibilities
Communicate project information, including: status reporting, meeting actions, change requests, risk reports, issue logs, schedule and budget tracking.
Managing all aspects of project delivery including project scope definition, specifying deliverables, project duration and cost estimation, managing project budget, creating project plans and managing project change requests.
Run scrums and other status meetings
Regularly review team hours
Write SOWs and Change Orders
Review and forecast project budget
Set up and maintain tickets in the management system
Manage collection of assets and information from the customer
Perform meeting prep, prepare agendas, and handle all follow up
Produce weekly and monthly summary reports
What You’ll Bring
At least 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager, ideally on a distributed web design / dev team
Experience with agile and waterfall management styles
Experience producing large CMS-powered websites
Advanced skills when it comes to online collaboration tools. You feel at home when we talk about Slack, Google Meet/Zoom, Google Docs, Jira or any number of online PM tools.
Experience managing projects with budgets over $300k
Excellent, clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written
Creativity and flexibility to facilitate leveraging solutions for positive outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with WordPress
Experience with enterprise-level web development projects
Some strategy, business analysis or product owner experience
