LOCATION:
This role is based in the Midwest, with a strong preference for candidates located in Kansas City, MO, St Louis, MO and Des Moines, Iowa.  
Candidate will work from their home office and position will require 70% travel.  Candidates in other Midwest locations with access to a major airport will also be considered.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Hunter - Enterprise Sales Representative to drive new business and expand existing customer relationships across the Mid-West. The territory extends from Minnesota through Arkansas
This territory has a high performing established install base, VAR and alliance partner relationships with untapped potential for growth.  We need a hunter with an entrepreneurial drive to extract the full potential of the region.  
This role is focused on selling Spectra Logic’s cutting-edge storage and data management solutions to enterprise IT accounts in collaboration with alliance partners and value-added resellers (VARs).
Key Responsibilities:
  • This is a Hunter Role focused on new business development. Candidate will prospect and develop new pipeline.  Success will be measured on ability to generate and close new business.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth throughout the Mid-West.  States you will cover (MN, ND, SD, IA, KS, MO, NE, OK, AR, MS).
  • Identify and engage enterprise IT decision-makers to position Spectra Logic’s solutions.  This will require strong relationship management and strategic communication to generate customer delight.
  • Work closely with technology alliance partners and VARs to build joint go-to-market strategies and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage pipeline development and progress within CRM (MS Dynamics) to track and analyze sales opportunities, ensuring accurate/ realistic forecasting
  • Conduct solution presentations, product demonstrations, and executive briefings to showcase Spectra Logic’s value proposition.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer challenges, and the competitive landscape to provide strategic insights and solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience enterprise business development experience, preferably selling data storage, data protection, or IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a solution-based sales environment.
  • Experience working with technology alliances and VARs to drive joint sales efforts.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand enterprise IT challenges and articulate how Spectra Logic’s solutions address them.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously and work autonomously in a remote role.
  • Experience using CRM tools to track and manage sales opportunities effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 70% travel -car and air travel as needed within the region.
COMPENSATION:
Total cash compensation for this role ranges from $200,000 to $240,000 annually, with a 50/50 split between base salary and commission.

This range represents a good-faith estimate; actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
