Summary of Job Duties:

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching MLSC 42232 – Body Fluids and MLSC 31201 – Body Fluids Lab for distance learners enrolled in the Medical Laboratory Sciences program within the College of Health Professions, Department of Laboratory Sciences. Duties include course instruction, curriculum development, student assessment, and collaboration with program faculty to ensure delivery of high-quality online education

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Education (Ed.D.)

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Teach and manage online instruction for MLSC 42232 – Body Fluids and MLSC 31201 – Body Fluids Lab

• Design, update, and implement course materials for distance learning delivery

• Evaluate student performance through assignments, assessments, and discussions

• Provide timely feedback and academic support to students

• Participate in program meetings and contribute to curriculum development

• Promote a supportive and professional learning environment
