The role

In this role, you’ll work closely with senior engineers to implement Salesforce features and automations, develop clean and scalable solutions, and gain hands-on experience with tools like Agentforce and Data Cloud. You'll participate in planning and code reviews, help maintain system documentation, and support testing and deployment activities. With a strong foundation in Salesforce and a passion for continuous learning, you’ll play a valuable part in shaping a platform that supports our global mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement Salesforce features, customizations, and automations using Apex, Lightning Components, and Flow Builder with mentorship from senior developers
  • Learn and follow Salesforce best practices and coding standards throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members to align solutions with system architecture
  • Participate in code reviews, pull requests, and collaborative solutioning sessions
  • Contribute to sprint planning and align development tasks with project goals
  • Communicate progress, blockers, and integration concerns with team members
  • Support unit testing, UAT, and defect resolution
  • Maintain and document configurations, custom development, and system processes
  • Continuously improve your technical skills through Trailhead, peer learning, and internal training

Essential skills

  • Completion of the Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals, including declarative configuration and the Lightning Experience UI
  • Familiarity with Salesforce admin tools (custom objects, validation rules, flows)
  • Exposure to Agile development workflows and tools
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • A passion for learning and growing within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

Desirable skills

  • Basic experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), or SOQL/SOSL
  • Completion of Platform Developer I Certification
  • Hands-on experience with Git-based version control and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps or Salesforce CLI
  • Exposure to API integration using REST/SOAP
