What You Will Be Doing

• Crafting, revising, and overseeing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in strict compliance with Arizona state requirements.
• Managing accommodations and compliance within a vibrant virtual learning setting.
• Conducting dynamic, real-world virtual workshops on subjects like entrepreneurship, storytelling, or wellness.
• Providing one-on-one and small group coaching to SPED students to foster confidence, executive functioning, and self-directed learning.
• Collaborating with the school team to innovate and enhance support for exceptional learners.

Special Education Teacher Key Responsibilities

Spearhead the creation, implementation, and compliance of IEPs while engaging students in impactful, life-skill-enhancing virtual activities.

Basic Requirements

• Reside in Arizona.
• Possess a valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in writing and updating IEPs.
• Experience in coordinating accommodations and managing SPED compliance duties.
• Previous experience working with students aged 8–14.
• Strong virtual communication skills with on-camera confidence.
• Available to start by July 2025.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
