Imagine360 is seeking a VP, Financial Planning and Analysis to join the team! The VP of Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for leading the financial sponsor reporting, decision support services, and analysis functions, as well as supporting the planning and forecasting functions within the organization. This role involves providing strategic financial insights, driving financial performance, and supporting decision-making processes.
Position Location: 100% remote
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
Lead the development of comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
Use SQL to write advanced level queries.
Collaborate with department heads and senior management to gather inputs, assumptions, and data for accurate financial projections.
Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate potential impacts on financial performance
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Provide insightful analysis of financial results, trends, and variances to budget and forecast.
Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to senior management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
Strategic Decision Support:
Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making processes and assess the financial viability of proposed projects.
Provide guidance and recommendations to senior leadership based on rigorous financial analysis and risk assessment.
Financial Systems and Processes:
Oversee the implementation and enhancement of financial planning and analysis systems, tools, and processes.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within financial systems and establish controls to safeguard financial information.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development:
Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and promote a high-performance culture within the FP&A team.
Develop talent pipelines and succession plans to support organizational growth and continuity.
Required Experience/Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis roles, with a track record of success in leading FP&A functions.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as Salesforce (FinancialForce), Workday Adaptive Planning, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, anticipate business needs, and provide strategic insights.
