The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team.

The Business Intelligence and Data Governance Lead for the ES – Portfolio Management Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for overseeing data quality, implementing processes for data improvement, and ensuring alignment with RTX's Enterprise Services (ES) Real Estate guidelines. This role encompasses organizing COE data, managing all reporting requirements, developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, and leading data governance efforts. The incumbent will also create and maintain business intelligence dashboards and serve as the point of contact for audit and compliance needs.

What You Will Do

Data Quality Ownership:

  • Serve as the owner of data quality within the Portfolio Management COE.
  • Implement processes to attain higher quality and/or more comprehensive data.
  • Continuously monitor and improve data collection methods and accuracy.

Data Organization and Alignment:

  • Organize COE data in alignment with ES Real Estate guidelines.
  • Maintain a Data Dictionary of real estate terms and ensure consistency across Centers of Excellences.

Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Manage all reporting for the team, including but not limited to Lease Maturity Schedule for 10K reporting, State Fact Sheets, and Portfolio Changes.
  • Lead the gathering of KPI data and prepare talking points for Control Tower reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of required reports as need be.

Metrics and KPIs:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful metrics and KPIs for the Portfolio Management COE.
  • Regularly update and refine KPIs to reflect the team's performance and strategic goals.

Business Intelligence Dashboards:

  • Create and maintain business intelligence dashboards to visualize data and performance metrics.
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and provide actionable insights.

Data Governance and Compliance:

  • Partner with other COE data leads to define and align global data standards and linkage between tools.
  • Lead data governance initiatives across RTX, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all audit and compliance requirements related to data.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data needs are met and aligned with business objectives.
  • Communicate data findings and insights to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • This role typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, reporting, or a similar role.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with and understanding of data governance principles and practices
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience Proven experience and proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence software (e.g., ArcGIS, Tableau, Power BI).

Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:

This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
