Optimal Blue is the only partner that offers complete mortgage capital markets technology, allowing lenders to optimize their advantage from pricing accuracy to margin protection and every step in between. We are currently looking for a Sales Solutions Specialist – PPE to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has very recent experience managing the Optimal Blue PPE either as a manager of a lock desk for a medium to large volume mortgage company or a related position for a financial institution.
The target base pay for this position is $100k. On target earnings (OTE) are near $230k.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized product and market expertise in a consultative manner to prospective customers of the Optimal Blue product, pricing, and eligibility platform in person and/or remotely.
- Present and discuss the various workflows, automation, policies and procedures associated with running an effective lock desk within a secondary marketing department.
- Develop advocacy through vendor/partners; consultants; GSE’s; investors; warehouse lenders; regulators; MI’s and generally serve as an ambassador for Optimal Blue to the various players in the mortgage industry.
- Maintain awareness of the competitor environment and devise strategies and tactics to continually position Optimal Blue as the preferred vendor for secondary marketing technology services.
- Develop excellent communications with all levels of field sales, marketing, product, and client success teams to assist and facilitate Optimal Blue PPE sales.
- Initiate a target number of in-field client visits with the sales team.
- Attend industry tradeshows as needed throughout the year.
- Provide continuing education and training on system functionality for the field sales team.
- Provide feedback and input to the product development team based on customer and prospect feedback.
- Drive sales of the Optimal Blue platform by effectively and consistently executing all the above.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years hands-on experience with the Optimal Blue product, pricing, and eligibility software platform is required including front and back-end user interface, software configuration and product builds.
- At least 5 years detailed knowledge and hands-on experience in all aspects of a secondary marketing lock desk to include:
- experience with all types of agency-eligible mortgage products (i.e. jumbo & non-QM), aggregators, agencies, and alternative investors.
- Understanding margin management and the use of data to drive competitive positioning.
- Excellent communication skills and an upbeat, positive outlook with excellent client-facing skills.
- Strong computer skills and software proficiency including Microsoft Office.
- CRM experience, Salesforce preferred.
- Willingness and the ability to travel as needed.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required; A Bachelor's degree in a financial discipline is a plus.

The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $64,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.

Sales positions may be eligible to participate in the business commission plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.
