Our Company: Revco Solutions Inc provides best-in-class Revenue Cycle management to Hospital and Physician Service clients.


POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Pre-Registration Specialist performs registration and basic insurance verification, ensuring collection of critical data elements necessary for proper patient identification and billing.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides excellent customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with the patient.
  • Communicates in a positive and professional manner with the patient.
  • Perform registration and basic insurance verification, ensuring collection of critical data elements necessary for proper patient identification and billing.
  • Identify and update patient demographic information on the patient accounting system as defined by departmental policy and procedures.
  • Identify non-participating Insurances or Out of Networks plans; takes necessary steps to inform patients of their financial responsibility.
  • Validate insurance information via electronic medical record, transfer information, or insurance eligibility tool.
  • Educates patients on coordination of coverage and other insurance issues, securing payment of patient’s financial liability/performing collection efforts over the phone.
  • Perform all other duties and projects assigned.
Requirements
  • Two years in a professional, customer service-driven environment preferred
  • Telephone/call center experience
  • Pre-registration and/or scheduling experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a production driven call-center environment
  • Must demonstrate problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
  • Computer/tech savvy with experience navigating between multiple systems simultaneously
  • Must have MS Office Experience, fast and accurate typing skills
  • Extensive multitasking ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Salary Description
$17-19/hr.
